Website analytics (Ignition Engage)

Our website uses Ignition Engage, a website analytics tool integrated with our customer relationship management system (monday.com). Ignition Engage uses a first-party cookie named ignition_engage_id — a randomly generated identifier with no link to your identity until you take an explicit action. The cookie is set only after you provide consent via our cookie banner. With your consent, Ignition Engage records the pages you visit, links you click, forms you submit, and any custom interactions we have instrumented.

What we collect

  • Page URL, page title and referrer
  • Timestamp of each interaction
  • UTM and click-ID parameters
  • Browser type and version, operating system and version, device type (mobile/desktop/tablet)
  • Country (derived from your IP address — the IP address itself is not stored)
  • Contact details you submit via forms, such as name, email address and phone number

What we do NOT collect

  • Sensitive information (health, sexuality, political opinions, religious beliefs, racial or ethnic origin, criminal record, biometric data)
  • Your full IP address
  • Device fingerprinting data
  • Cross-site browsing behaviour

Where it is stored

When you visit chrisdemo.com, engagement data is stored in our own monday.com workspace. ChrisDemo is the data controller for this data. Ignition Consulting Group, the maker of Ignition Engage, does not retain, store or have access to that data — it acts only as the software provider.

Data is processed and stored on monday.com’s application infrastructure in the region where our monday.com account is hosted.

How long it is kept

Raw activity data is kept for the retention period configured in our account — between 1 and 365 days depending on plan, 90 days by default — and then automatically deleted. Aggregated statistics (such as total pages viewed and last visit date) are kept while you remain in our CRM. If Ignition Engage is ever uninstalled from our account, all engagement data stored for that account is deleted within 10 days.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking “Withdraw consent” in our cookie banner or by contacting us via our contact page. Withdrawal immediately deletes all engagement data associated with your browser. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

EU & UK visitors

If you access our website from the European Union or the United Kingdom, your data is processed under your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You have the rights described above plus the additional rights under the GDPR, including data portability (export available on request) and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Other information we collect

When you submit our intake form, email us, or book a workflow audit, you may provide details such as your name, email address, company, and information about the workflows or tools you’d like to automate. This is used to respond to enquiries, prepare audits, deliver agreed services, and maintain appropriate business records.

This website is hosted on WordPress.com, and our intake form is hosted on monday.com. Both process technical information needed to deliver and secure their services under their own privacy practices. Linking to or embedding an external service does not mean ChrisDemo controls how that service handles information. ChrisDemo does not sell personal information.
